Riders Ryan Kent have remarkably avoided the penalties despite the success of Scott Brown of PUNCHING Celtic.

Referee Bobby Madden had already distributed a red card earlier in the match to Gers forward Alfredo Morelos, after nudging Brown.

Brown had upset Morelos during an out-of-ball incident and, despite their seemingly little-touched appearance, Madden showed the leader his fifth red card of the season to reduce the number of Rangers to ten.

The Rangers players were unhappy with Brown's involvement and the tensions worsened later in the match when James Forrest (Celtic) hit a late winner.

As Brown celebrated the goal, Kent slapped the Hoops captain in the face, dropping him on the ground near the center line.

Madden missed the incident and Kent went out without even a reservation for his actions.

The final whistle further aggravated the situation as Brown was involved in an altercation with Rangers Andy Halliday, with the two men being separated by their teammates.

Kent had previously leveled the Rangers level after Odsonne Edward gave the advantage to his team after 27 minutes.

Celtic fans climbed onto the pitch to celebrate the first goal, injuring a steward just before Morelos lost his temper.

Shortly after the hour of play, Kent ended a good move by taking against Celtic's Dedryck Boyata before hitting in the corner to tie.

The Liverpool star on loan posed a lot of problems to the Celtic defense, and it seemed that the visitors could score another goal, before Forrest scored the points for the hosts.

Rangers coach Steven Gerrard was angry after the game and criticized Brown's behavior.

Temperaments overflow at the final whistle

Gerrard said, "You play against a player who likes to upset, Morelos and Kent are both provoked.

"Celtic fans have the right to celebrate, but to do it right in their race, Halliday has the right to protect his people.

"The guy who has upset everything from the beginning also deserves to be punished, and when you're provoked, it's just that both sides are punished in my opinion."

Speaking on Morelos, Brown said: "He nudged me and you can not do it in modern football, there are a lot of cameras."

Asked about the confrontation with Ryan Kent after the Forrest winner, Brown said he did not remember it. After insisting on his altercation with Andy Halliday, he added: "He came to congratulate me at the end.

"It was always a tough game, but the fans were exceptional, we had some injuries but we persevered, the Rangers played well, but we managed to win the game and that's all that matters."
