Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have probably one of the most fun friendships in Hollywood, and this seems to be going in a rather fun direction.

Reynolds recently replied to a message on Twitter kind versions of Marvel's actors, which has become viral at various stages in recent months. As the post jokingly pointed out, the female version of Hugh Jackman looked a bit like Reynolds' wife, Blake Lively, something that the actor could not ignore.

Neither do I. Thank you for that.

Considering the kind of social media trolling that Reynolds and Jackman took part in in In recent years, this connection between the two X-Men stars is quite fun. And these comments could be the closest thing that fans get seeing the actors again to the screen, which some have found a bit bittersweet.

"No, but Ryan is relentless," Jackman said of a Deadpool / Wolverine crossover film in an interview late last year. "He keeps coming back to me in all these ways, shapes, and shapes," Jackman continued. "I just said," You know, I do not think the world really wants to see Deadpool with Wolverine. "Maybe a Deadpool cameo?" I just think it turns out for Deadpool.

To a certain extent, this ties in with Jackman's previous comments, claiming that the time had come for a Deadpool and Wolverine team movie to really work.

"Look, if this movie had appeared ten years ago, it would be a totally different story," Jackman said during an interview. Logan. "But I knew two and a half years ago that it was the last one." The first call I made was that of Jim [Mangold]. I said, "Jim, I still have a chance." As soon as I got Jim and started working on the idea, I was not so excited anymore. But it seems like a good time … Deadpool, go for it, man. You do your thing. You do not need me. "

And anyway, it seems like a cross between Deadpool and Wolverine does not happen with Jackman in the latter role, even as the purchase of 20th Century Fox by Marvel Studios is imminent.

"It's interesting because for 17 years, I kept thinking that [Wolverine joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe] would be so great, "explained Jackman at the end of last year." As I would like to see, in particular, Iron Man and Hulk and Wolverine together. And every time I saw an Avengers movie, I could just see Wolverine in the middle of each of them, as if I was hitting them all on the head. But it was like, "Oh, well, it's not going to happen." and it was interesting just when I saw this title – it was just the possibility and who knows what will happen, obviously – I was like, "Wait!" But I think, unfortunately, that the ship sailed for me, but for somebody other I would like to see Wolverine there.
