Ryanair pbadengers will now have 48 hours to make free bookings after the airline announced a series of customer service improvements.
Customers currently have a 24-hour grace period to correct minor errors – for example, a misspelled name – for free, but that number is doubled.
Ryanair's royalties in this area can be heavy. For example, the name change fee is £ 115 per pbadenger and £ 160 at the airport.
Ryanair has also launched an annual £ 199 / € 199 loyalty program called Ryanair Choice, offering "free seats, expedited procedures and priority boarding".
EU261 is the European directive that requires airlines to pay compensation for flight delays of more than three hours. Ryanair has announced a customer service charter stating that claims will be processed "within 10 days", with new support 24/7.
