Celebration is part of the actions to thank God for acts of thanksgiving
The Half-Assini district of Sacred Action Church celebrated its 70th anniversary during a grand ceremony during a clean-up exercise in some of the main streets of Half-Assini, in the municipality from Jomoro, in the western region.
The celebration is part of the steps to pay homage to God for the thanksgiving he has brought to the Church and to present the remarkable achievements that have been required so far to have a positive impact on society.

Preaching on the theme "Christ is our heritage", the District Pastor, Reverend George Doctor, has acknowledged God's faithfulness to church growth over the last 7 decades and asked all believers of the church to be faithful to the Lord.
"The 70 years are a renewal of our lives and as Christ is our property, we must live a life worthy of emulation".
The Reverend Doctor urged believers to adopt an attitude similar to that of Christ and advised them to move away from immoral acts such as fornication, adultery, greed, and corrupt practices that could mislead them.
Ernest Kwofie, president of the Jomoro municipality, who presided over the ceremony, admitted that a 70-year career was a feat, and warned the congregation to move away from its immoral practices that could endanger and shorten his life.
He reminded believers that 70 years was a golden age with its concomitant blessings and asked them to position themselves well to tap into these blessings.
Mr. Kwofie donated 50 bags of cement and an envelope of 200 cents in support of the church building in Half-Assini.
The MP for Jomoro, Mr. Paul Essien, special guest, donated an amount of thousand Ghanaian cedis to the church for the completion of the central temple of Half-Assini.
Mr. and Mrs. Turkson, who were also honored guests, recently donated a new generator to the Church of Half-Assini. They again donated to the church an undisclosed amount of value of 50 ultramodern roofing sheets.
Reverend Andrews Kangah, Minister Responsible for the Central Half-Assini Action Church, expressed his deep gratitude to the MP, MCE, Mr. and Mrs. Tebson for making a full and voluntary donation to the church and asked May the blessings of God be: their portion.
