Sadio Mane's home was robbed Tuesday night
Merseyside police are investigating a robbery at the home of Liverpool striker Sadio Mane.
The robbery took place Tuesday night as the Senegalese international was at Anfield to play the last match of the Champions League against Bayern Munich in the first leg match.
Nobody was present at Allerton, a 26-year-old man, during the burglary.
The thieves escaped with watches, mobile phones and car keys during the burglary.
Forensic examinations are in progress and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is underway.
Phil Mahon, police inspector from Merseyside, said: "We call on anyone with information about this robbery to make themselves known and contribute to our investigations.

Mane had already been burglarized in November 2017 while he was at Anfield for another Champions League match against Maribor.
