The three girls abducted in Takoradi
Another suspect was arrested by police in the eastern region for the abduction of three women in Takoradi, in the western region.
Emmanuel Ohene Gyan, of Empire FM, announced that the suspect identified as Emily Alimo and suspected of being a Nigerian national had been arrested after it had been revealed that she had to several times exchanged messages with the main suspect, Samuel Willis.
The three girls were kidnapped in December 2018 and still have not been released, although their family paid ransom to the kidnappers.
The police command in the West region revealed Wednesday that the three abducted girls had established a relationship with their alleged abductor Willis.
At a press conference to inform the media of progress made so far in investigating this case, the commander of the West Regional Police, the Redeemer DCOP, Vincent Dedjoe, said the investigations reveal that the accused and the three victims had communicated several times before their abduction.

The accused allegedly contacted his victims several times by mobile phone, promising the first and second victims to work, while the accused allegedly promised the third victim with a mobile phone.
