Saga of Deportation: Nigeria and Ghana: Reconciliation Talks on Immigration
The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) and its Ghanaian counterpart have begun reconciliation efforts regarding the recent expulsion of four Ghanaian nationals by the Nigerian government.
NIS spokesman, Sunday James, revealed that NIS Comptroller General Muhammad Babandede had welcomed Ghana's Immigration Comptroller, Mr. Kwame Takyi, accompanied by the High Commissioner of Ghana to Ghana. Nigeria, Mr. Rashid Bawa. .

"There is no reason to be alarmed because the two countries will solve the problems between them diplomatically."
