Trust Saif Ali Khan to go the extra mile to make his characters look authentic on screen. On Tuesday, as Disney Plus Hotstar released a teaser of all of its upcoming 2021 titles, fans got a glimpse of Saif’s look in his upcoming horror comedy Bhoot Police. The film also stars Arjun Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez and Yami Gautam.
In the teaser, we got to see two different avatars of Saif’s character, Vibhooti. In one he sported a bearded and robust air, and in another he looked eccentric with his face smeared with ash and a head covering. While the first look was already revealed by the creators earlier, the second look left a lot of intrigue.
This is not the first time that Saif has surprised audiences with his character look. In 2019, his intimidating and regal look for his character Uday Bhan in Om Raut period drama Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior wowed viewers. With long hair, kohled eyes and a flowing cape, the actor looked utterly menacing. Some people have even compared her look to that of Game of Thrones character Jon Snow.

Likewise, in 2018, when the first poster for the dark comedy thriller Kaalakaandi was unveiled, people couldn’t help but praise Saif’s unusual avatar. There he wore a yellow fur coat with his hair tied in several ponytails.

He also surprised audiences with his appearance as Naga Sadhu in Navdeep Singh’s film Laal Kaptaan.

Bhoot police were headed by Pawan Kirpalani. “I am delighted that Saif and Arjun are reuniting for this entertaining feature film. We will see them both bring their signature fun elements to the brand new avatars they will portray in this film, ”Kirpalani said in a statement. The film will begin airing on Disney Plus Hotstar on September 17.
Besides Bhoot Police, Saif also has Bunty Aur Babli 2, Bhoot Police and Adipurush in his kitten.
