Saipa Trounce Minerva Punjab 4-0 at ACL preliminary stage

Tehran, Feb. 12 (Xinhua) – Iran's Saipa cleared Minerva Punjab (India) 4-0 in a preliminary match of the AFC 2019 Champions League at Shahr-e stadium. Quds of Tehran Tuesday.

Arash Rezavand opened the scoring for Saipa in the eighth minute of the penalty spot and Arman Ramezani was the target for the hosts in the 24th minute.

Saipa scored two more goals in the second half. Samuel Sarfo scored Minerva's goal in the 73rd minute and the second goal of the Rezavand match in the 81st.

Next Tuesday, Saipa will travel to Doha, Qatar, to face Al Rayyan in the playoffs. Enditem
