There has been a lot of hype for Salman Khan's upcoming film Bharat and not much information on what to expect.
But that changes a bit with the release of Bharat first teaser, which reveals that the film is not only Salman's love letter to his homeland, but that his character also calls Bharat. Just Bharat. "No family name, caste or belief is needed," he says in the one-minute trailer.

It is said that the film shows the journey "of a man and a nation together". And what a journey it seems to be, when we see Salman first as a coalman (or equivalent) barely avoiding an underground collapse, then as captain on a luxury liner, and finally as a reckless stuntman in a circus. This kind of crazy adventure life that this Bharat has and how it reflects the tumultuous history of India, we will have to wait to see it.
The film, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, also stars Katrina Kaif and Tabu in the lead roles. He will be released on Eid ul Fitr 2019.
