Solomon Etornam Asuhene, 19, of the English Assembly in the Whitsuntide Pentecostal District is currently the youngest Chartered Accountant in the country, having successfully pbaded the professional accounting exams approved (CA) at all three levels.

This feat was conferred by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ghana (ICAG) at the 32nd ICAG Graduation and Admission Ceremony which was recently held in Accra on Saturday, April 27, 2019.

Solomon wrote three out of four papers and postponed one to the first level of the CA exam. At Level 2 of the exam, he completed the six required courses and wrote seven papers, including the previous one. In the last part, he wrote two courses on the first attempt and the other two on the next attempt, pbading the 14 tests required by ICAG.

Sending to PENTECOST NEWS, he revealed that his goal was to become a Chartered Accountant in adolescence so he could explore many other opportunities that might come his way.

He encouraged people who are looking for peaks in their professional career to continue working hard, no matter what challenges they may face in life. "Despite my humble course, I did not apologize. I have worked very hard to fulfill my dream of becoming the youngest accountant in Ghana and now, I have distinguished myself by the grace of God, "he said.

Solomon currently specializes in insurance at the Finance Department of the Business School of the University of Ghana. He is the organizing secretary of the UGBS student council. He is also an active student and makes a significant contribution to extracurricular activities.

Solomon Etornam Asuhene aspires to help local entrepreneurs conceptualize their business ideas, add value to their products and services, and make their businesses globally competitive.
