The Twins exchanged for Giants pickup Sam Dyson a few minutes before the MLB trade deadline. So, Minnesota gets the Giants reliever before the deadline, but not the lifter (or thrower) that fans of the Twins could have hoped for.
Out of nowhere, the Twins trade has been overshadowed by a big exchange of Astros: Diamondbacks' former ace, Zack Greinke, is in motion, and Houston now has a tremendous 1-2-3 in his rotation. It's as good a starting team as any baseball team.
