Former Ghana defender Samuel Osei Kuffour
Former Vice President of the Ghana Football Federation (GFA), George Afriyie, said he hoped the inclusion of Ghana's ex-defenseman, Samuel Osei Kuffour, at the Standards Committee would improve the work of the governing body of Ghanaian football.
Kuffour, 42, has had a successful career at Bayern Munich and replaced former Asante Kotoko board member Kofi Dua Adoteng until September 30th. 2019.
For George Afriyie, who has not been impressed by GFA's production in the last six months, Osei Kuffour is going to make things better.
"I hope the next six months will be better. Fortunately, we have a practical person like Sammy Kuffour on the [Normalisation] Committee now. I have worked with him many times and he has served on several committees as part of the GFA. He will bring a lot of experience to standardization [committee], he noted.
