The Galaxy S9 is followed by the Galaxy S10. Samsung will not present its new flagship product in the context of the MWC Barcelona, unlike in previous years. Instead, Samsung invites a few days earlier on February 20, 2019 for an uncompressed event in San Francisco. Once again, the smartphone will probably be available in several versions. As Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10 +, as a third version called Galaxy S10E and even as a fourth with ceramic back. In this post, we summarize what you can expect from the new S10 series.

Updated February 04, 2019

Apparently, we are seeing a new trend this year with regards to the current equipment for WLAN modules. The new WiFi 6 standard, also known as WLAN 802.11ax, will play a bigger role this year. The first rumors have even been here for the upcoming iPhone 2019 models, which should be expected with the new feature.

As stated by XDA-Developers, the US FCC certification authority has confirmed the new Galaxy S10 models with a corresponding entry. What devices appear, of course, is obvious. Therefore, the relative entry to the new WLAN module is much more interesting. Because the three Samsung smartphones should support Wi-Fi 6 and thus achieve WLAN speeds of up to 11GB / s. Of course, the connected router must also support this performance.

The new Galaxy S10 models are expected by the end of the month. Samsung will host an event on February 20 and present the top three devices. Among other things, we expect screens with a Loch-Notch, a current Exynos processor, a lot of memory and a new camera. Prices probably vary, depending on the model and equipment, between 900 and 1500 euros.
