Mr. Samuel Gyekye of Tafo won the MT A Invitational Group A Golf Tournament of the Men A Golf Tournament at the Tema Country Golf Club with more than 100 golfers from around the country with a net score of 68 points .
Achimota's Felix Kwame Akafo took second place with 69 points, while James K. Kally of Achimota was third with 69 points, as did Godwin Asem of Tema, who finished fourth.
Nash Antwi of Achimota won Group B with a net score of 72 points. Nana Dr. Ani Agyei and Francis Sonne of Tema ranked second and third, respectively, with a net score of 73 points.
Floria Hurtubise of Bogoso won group A with a net score of 71 points while Nana B. Tackie of Achimota was second with a score of 77 points.
Gladys Awuni, of Tema, and Pamela Atila, of Tafo, share the honors in the women's B group event.
Jerry Tetteh of Achimota and Floria Hurtubise have won awards for leading the flag closer, while Isaac Amoako Mensah and Niine Sarpong, both of Achimota, have also won awards for the longer tour.
The Senior Prize for Older Players was awarded to Kwabena Boakye and Dr. Paul Owusu Baah of the Tema Country Club.
