Apple Music publishers have created a playlist for the best Ghanaian hiplife songs that have dominated the airwaves in Ghana and abroad.
The playlist, which contains a list of 40 old and new hiplife songs, follows the release of Apple's new documentary on gender, directed by Ghanaian photographer Prince Gyasi.
Old hits like "Kwame Nkrumah" from Obrafour, "Woso" from Reggie Rockstone, "Kangaroo" from Tic Tac and new songs like "Otoolege" from Joey B, "Painkiller" from Sarkodie and "Sika" from 39, Okyeame Kwame were presented playlist.
"Our editors have scrutinized the heavyweights of Ghana's hip-hop cultural movement and discovered a host of exciting discoveries. This first opus brings together the soft and silky sounds of rapper Keche, the vibrant and fast Tic Tac and Asem, as well as a sprinkle of spice offered by Obrafour.
