Sarkodie68 Award Sarkodie with some of his rewards

Rapper Sarkodie literally begs his fans to vote for him to win prizes at this year's Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.

The owner of the SarkCess Music label and leader of SarkNation – his army of official fans – shared a video on Wednesday, April 3, asking his fans to vote for him to win other awards at the 20th edition of the VGMA.

He began by saying that the video was not meant to be presented but it did for his loyal followers.

"Let me clarify, this video has nothing to do with me showing my awards. I think that sometimes in life, you have to sit down and enjoy the journey. This video is strictly for SarkNation, "he said. "… since Sarkodie went into the industry, I think it's amazing and thank you very much, guys."

The rapper "Friends to Enemies" then explained why he deserved more awards, including that of "Artist of the Decade". He supported his reason with "coherence" and twice won the "Artist of the Year" award and paid tribute to God.

"I have 21 VGMA. The fact that I received the "Artist of the Year" award twice is a remarkable fact among the 21 awards, which shows that we really worked hard. "

"… reflecting on my career, I think that" coherence "is the word that comes up most often and I thank God for not having the keys or planning this."

He concluded by saying that he was fighting for his fans who felt the need to be appreciated.

"… I do not need the VGMA for myself, I need it for my followers who have supported me and feel the need to be appreciated."
