The United Nations announced last week that they would hold a conference of key players in April to establish a "road map" for leading Libya to parliamentary and presidential elections.
The rival Libyan leaders agreed last year in Paris to hold elections before the end of the year, but this vote never materialized as the two rival administrations and many militias struggle for power.
But the UN announced that Haftar and Sarraj had agreed at a meeting in Abu Dhabi last month to work on the organization of the polls.
