The Supreme Court on Monday ordered the Madras High Court to rule on April 24 on a TikTok app appeal seeking the quashing of its prohibition order.
A judge presided over by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi said that if the Madras High Court did not decide to plead the application of TikTok, its prohibition order would remain vacant.
The Supreme Court had previously refused to suspend the decision of the Madras High Court enjoining the Center to ban the "Tiktok" application for reasons related to access to badgraphic content via this application.
