The camp of Professor Joshua Alabi, future flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) expressed his disappointment with the filing fee of 400 000 GH which should be paid by all flag bearer the hopes of the main opposition party.

All aspirants holding the NDC flag are required to pay 400,000 GHA as deposit fees, while aspiring female flag-holders must pay 200,000 GHS and persons with disabilities aspiring to the same position must pay 150,000 GHA.
The nomination form for the flag bearer is attributed to 20 000 GH.
In addition, candidates in parliament are expected to pay 20 000 GH as a filing fee. Women candidates in parliament will pay half.

The party made the decision at a meeting of the National Executive Committee (NEC) held on Thursday, November 29 at the party headquarters in Accra. According to the party, all aspirants have 10 days maximum to submit the [properly filled forms].
