Jeffrey Schlupp, Ghana midfielder and Crystal Palace, said he was delighted with his team's victory against Newcastle United in the Premier League on Saturday.
The 26-year-old played the full match as his team beat Newcastle by one goal.
His compatriot Jordan Ayew warmed the bench while Christian Astu was introduced in the match for Newcastle in the final minutes.
"A difficult match but a deserved victory," he said on his official Instagram page.
Schlupp was impressive for Crystal Palace during the current season, making 28 appearances in the Premier League and scoring four goals.
He was voted player of the month for Palace in February.
