Protesters converged on the Obra spot while waiting for directions on their route.
The Kum y3n pr3ko demonstration organized by the Coalition for Social Justice is under way in Accra.
The protesters, according to Starr News, Sefanam Agbogbli, who walks with the protesters, converged on the Obra spot while waiting for directions on their route.
The main organizer of the event, Bernard Mornah, told the media that the demonstration was triggered by the trials in the country, badociated with attacks on the media.
"The crowd is gigantic, you can not even find a place to put your legs," Sefanam reports in the field.
On Monday, former President John Mahama declared his support for the March on Facebook.
"Our country is down, with an unbearable increase in the cost of living. citizens do not feel safe, yet the government continues to oppress and intimidate the public, including journalists.

"I welcome, approve and encourage everyone to go out tomorrow and join the protest # Kumy3npr3ko organized by the Coalition for Social Justice.
"There is a lot of anger among Ghanaians and it is starting to show up even among the security services. This event gives all the allied groups who participate in it an opportunity to practice. It is in the interest of our country to stand up and express our disapproval of the Akufo-Addo leadership style, which has experienced unprecedented hardships for Ghanaians, "he wrote.
