The AAIB established a "priority search area" of about four square nautical miles and instructed a specialized vessel to conduct a study of the seabed.

If a wreck is found, a remotely operated vehicle will be used to examine it.
The AAIB stated that she was aware that a privately funded research was also underway and that she "was liaising closely with the people involved in order to be able to do this. optimize the chances of finding any wreckage and to ensure a safe search operation ".
Sala joined Cardiff earlier this month on a 15 million pound contract with Nantes, but never had a chance to play. The club returned to France to settle its affairs before his plane was missing on his return from Wales to northern France.
