Major stock indexes opened lower on Tuesday, following negative global indices and March results. At 09:18, the benchmark for domestic equities, BSE Senbad, was trading from 36.69 points to 39,030.64 points due to its sale to the front-office windows. The Nifty index was trading down 16.45 points to 11,738.20.
