Vamos Ramos! Real Madrid captain ‘has prepared to LEAVE the La Liga giants this summer and prefers a move to Manchester United at PSG’ with the star able to discuss potential moves now

  • Manchester United reportedly # 1 destination for Real Madrid defender
  • The 34-year-old is out of contract with the Spanish giants at the end of the season
  • Ramos reportedly in favor of a move to England rather than joining Paris Saint-Germain

Sergio Ramos is reportedly set to leave Real Madrid this summer and is aiming for a move to the Premier League, with Manchester United being his preferred destination.

The defender is out of contract at the end of the season and talks about a new deal are stalled, meaning he could be available on a free transfer.

The 34-year-old is free to speak to clubs outside of Spain to secure a pre-contract deal and The Mirror reports that his agent and brother, René Ramos, are considering a move to England.

René also shared a tweet criticizing the club for dragging their heels on a new deal.

The report goes on to state that Old Trafford are Spanish clubs’ first choice in the Premier League, with the center-back not keen on a move to Paris Saint-Germain.

The center-back, who turns 35 in March, also has offers from clubs in Asia, but his family do not seem keen on moving there.

Ramos has been offered a two-year contract on the same net £ 10.8million-a-year deal he is currently in the process of closing.

He is currently exercising his right to pass the first offer on the grounds that, with the 10% pay cut players agreed to take during the pandemic, accepting the same money actually means earning less.

The defender has won 18 trophies in his 15 and a half years with the La Liga side.

Ramos played a pivotal role in Real Madrid’s victory last season, scoring six goals in the club’s last 11 games passing Barcelona.

Real have only managed to win three of the six league games the center-back has missed this season, with the defender contributing three goals in all competitions.
