Seth Rollins targeted Brock Lesnar before his fight for the WWE Universal title at WrestleMania 35 next week.
The architect let fly to Lesnar, blaming the champion for only worrying about himself and the money.
Rollins also said that he found it "frustrating" to see the former UFC heavyweight champion hold the industry hostage.
Lesnar has continually attracted the spirit of WWE fans since returning to the company in 2012, during his many reigns as a champion.
Paying 12 million pounds a year, Lesnar works only part-time, that is, he does not show up regularly at Monday Night Raw and is supposed to be paid less.

"When you have someone like Lesnar who does not really care to inspire others, you start losing a generation," Rollins said.
"You lose motivated people – if I did not have champions who inspired me when I was younger, I might not have wanted to be a professional wrestler. I may not have wanted to get into this business.
"There are guys like Shawn Michaels and Triple H and John Cena and Edge and Eddie Guerrero who have become champions, they inspire people to want to get into this industry and move it forward." Brock Lesnar just does not it does not inspire people.

"He has it for himself and he will tell you, he gets value for money and he will tell you.
"It's frustrating for me, as a fan of our sector, to see him hijacked by someone who only cares about himself and makes a living."
Rollins, speaking to Sporting News, added: "I'm old school, man, I want my champion to be at the top of all the events.
"We are attending these live events and Brock Lesnar is not here and we are going to" Raw "or the map and Brock Lesnar is not there."
