Seventh-ranked Englishman Atherton Collieries surprised Asian giants Al-Ittihad in a friendly result on Wednesday.
Atherton Collieries, who will play in the first division of the North in 2019-20, defeated Al-Ittihad 2-0 at Alder House.
A header from Matt Grimshaw in the first half and a goal scored at the hour of play allowed the Colls to win against the eight times Saudi champions and twice Asian.
