A 60-year-old farmer who allegedly threatened another farmer appeared in an Enchi lower court.

At the prosecution, Detective Inspector Joseph Kwadwo Agyare told the court that the complainant and the accused lived in Obourkrom, in the municipality of Aowin.
He said the complainant was working on disputed land involving the accused and his uncle called James Twumasi.
The prosecution said that during the month of December 2020, Boateng visited said plot of land and met the plaintiff and another person who harvested cocoa there.
According to Inspector Agyare, the accused who was then holding a cutlass angrily confronted them and said: “If you don’t leave the farm, you will see what will happen to you”.
He said the plaintiff and his friend managed to get their hands on the cutlass in Boateng’s possession and dragged him to the community elders who advised them to report the matter to the police.
He said the accused was turned over to police to assist him in investigations and later charged.
