Shanta Gold sets new records in the fourth quarter, as exploration remains at the center of concerns

Eric Zurrin, managing director of Shanta Gold Limited (LON: SHG), explained to Andrew Scott's senior notes of Proactive London on one of the main deposits of the New Luika mine in Tanzania that the profits under- had jumped 21% in 2018.

Gold production for the year was 81,872 oz, while higher grades at Bauhinia Creek pushed production in the fourth quarter to nearly 24,000 oz.
