Ghanaian singer Dancehall, Shatta Wale, has received two nominations for the upcoming prestigious International World Reggae & Music Awards (IRAWMA).
Zylofon's musical score has been nominated in the title of "Afrobeat Artist of the Year and Video of the Year" with his video "Gringo".
This year's IRAWMA is scheduled to be released in Kingston, Jamaica on May 11, 2019. The event was dubbed "Bob Marley Transition Day and 50 Years of Reggae".
For records, Shatta Wale is the most decorated Dancehall artist on the African continent. Whether he wins these two awards or not, his references in the annals of Ghanaian music can not be underestimated.
