Shatta Wale has immobilized Cape Town's regional capital, Cape Coast, as he aired in his streets money for his fans after arriving in the city before an event at the University of Cape Coast (UCC).
The boss of the Shatta Movement was scheduled to perform at the UCC SRC week concert at Friday Night's Cape Coast Stadium.
Arriving earlier in Cape Coast, Shatta Wale decided to cross the city apparently to announce his presence in the coastal town.

This literally caused a traffic jam in the city center (from the stadium to the Kotokuraba market district).
In a video seen by YEN.com.ghShatta Wale, sitting in an unregistered white Range Rover among a convoy of luxury cars, came out of the sunroof to applaud the applause of his many fans.
When the convoy stopped because of the traffic, the chants of the name Shatta were heard by hawkers and other spectators.
As a showman, Gringo's great success pulled out cedi notes and threw himself into the crowd behind him and by his side before getting back into the car that immediately sped.
