Sherif Lanre explained for the first time what had happened exactly during her spectacular withdrawal from the Love Island villa.
It was confirmed that the 20-year-old chef had started the series earlier this week, but his release had been shrouded in mystery as the scenes had never been shown on the ITV2 series.
But after admitting that he had been fired for accidentally kicking the co-star Molly-Mae Hague, Sherif explained how much the ITV officials had told him that his time was expired.
He recounted how he and Molly-Mae had quarreled in the bathroom brushing his teeth when his toe was crushed in the groin.
Then, the inhabitants of the island fell asleep in the common room, as usual – but an awakening was given to Sherif.
The competitor was "dragged" out of bed, then headed to the Beach Hut to talk to the crew.
This decision comes after the ITV producers have invested in the images before deciding to withdraw Sherif.
Sherif told the Sun: "There were two managers in the Beach Hut and they asked me to explain it.
"I told them that we were messing around, but they said that I had broken the code of conduct and that someone high placed had decided to leave. I was shown a right red card. "
To show the seriousness of what had happened, Sherif had to listen to a transcript of what had happened.
"It was only my part of the dialogue and it was read in a totally monotonous voice, which took everything out of context," he said.
After accidentally starting Molly-Mae, Sherif had told Tommy Fury: "It's a jackpot."
Since then, Sherif has stated that he has never used the term before and that he did not know where he was coming from.
He was then sent home without being able to pack his bags or bid farewell to competitors – including Anna Vakilli, with whom he was badociated.
"I've been treated like a criminal for a simple mistake," says Sherif.
Mirror Online has contacted ITV for a comment.
Confirming Sherif's release this week, a spokeswoman for Love Island said, "After breaking the rules of the villa, Sherif had conversations with the producers and it was mutually agreed that he would leave the villa Love Island ".
Sherif then added, "The reality TV star – which has been paired with Anna Vakili – added:" In case of bad judgment, I broke the rules of the villa and agreed with the producers that they were not in the same place. it was better for me to leave. The villa."
