Precious Owolabi, a body member attached to the Channels TV channel, who died at the Shia protest in Abuja, was buried Thursday in the tears of his family, friends and colleagues at the Wusasa cemetery in Zaria, in the state of Kaduna.
DAILY POST had reported that a clash between members of the IMN and the Nigerian police had killed at least six people.
Usman Musa of the DCP and Precious Owolabi, a television reporter for Channel Channels, are among the victims.
He died after being hit by a stray bullet during clashes around the Federal Secretariat in Abuja on Monday.
According to Channels TV, members of the National Youth Corps (NYSC) and the staff of the TV channel were on the ground to ensure that Owolabi received a funeral worthy of the name. The NYSC executive director was also represented by a corps director.
