Sonny Bill Williams shared an emotional video of support for the victims of the shooting of the Christchurch Mosque.

The rugby player All Blacks and Blues is a Muslim and said, through tears in a video on social media, that he had trouble understanding what had happened.

"Just heard the news, I could not describe it in words as I feel now," Williams said in the video.

"Sending my duo to families apparently, there are nearly 30 dead.
