Roy Larner, 49, was stabbed nine times at various places on his body while he was fighting terrorists during the terrorist attack at the London Bridge in 2017. Since then, he has been stabbed to death. He has not been compensated for his heroism because he has already been convicted in criminal cases, including an aggravated badault on racial grounds last year. Dr. Shola Mos-Shogbamimu, a lawyer and political and female activist, and a former police detective, Sue Hill, wondered whether or not Roy should be entitled to compensation for his courage.
