The women’s organizer of the Kumasi Duase-Forest branch of Nasara of the Manhyia-North nuclear power plant, Hajia Rajid, said the flag bearer of the National Democratic Congress, former President John Dramani Mahama, should do the thing honorable by conceding his defeat to President Akufo-Addo.

Speaking in an interview with modernghana correspondent King Amoah in Kumasi-Duase, after an occasion to celebrate the NPP election victory on Friday, January 15, 2021, at Duase L / A Middle School Park, Hajia Rajid noted that the winning election is not about using lies or sugar coated words to persuade voters and reject them later after taking power.

According to her, when John Dramani Mahama was fighting for power in 2012, he used colorful tongues in his campaign to portray himself as an angel of light ready to transform the country.

She hinted that when Mahama was given the mandate, he instead worsened the plight of the citizens by introducing heinous policies to sabotage the country.

Hajia noted that Ghanaians have formed their own judgment on the emergence of Nana Akufo-Addo, whose regime she says has witnessed many economic transformations enormously.

The Organizer recalled how the administration of John Dramani Mahama rejected the citizens of the Zongo communities, in particular the widows who often resort to begging for weapons in the streets.

She commended Nana Akufo-Addo for introducing many policies including the free high school program which has contributed to the development of education in Zongo communities across the country to a large extent.

Hajia instructed residents of Zongo communities to renew their faith in the nuclear power plant, as the party is now seen as a northern party based on the transparent way in which national cakes are shared fairly under the watchful eye of Nana Akufo-Addo.

The Organizer took the opportunity to question the credibility of John Dramani Mahama on the reasons why he is calling for the resumption of the presidential election through his petition filed in the Supreme Court when in reality he knows that he was defeated by the good people of Ghana who lost confidence in him.

Hajia believes the Supreme Court will treat John Dramani Mahama’s petition with contempt as it lacks merit and an obvious attempt to waste the court’s precious time.

In her contribution, Hajia expressed the team’s willingness to support Nana Akufo-Addo in her quest to transform the country.
