Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SA announced on Monday that it had received a firm order from an anonymous customer for the supply of turbines for a wind farm in India.
The Spanish wind turbine maker said the order includes 87 units of the SG 3.4-145 wind turbine. The farm, which is located in the state of Karnataka, has a total capacity of 301 megawatts.
The project is expected to be commissioned by March 2023, according to the company.
