Simon Cowell revealed that he feared that his fame would result in the persecution of his son Eric.
The British judge Got Talent said he liked the fact that Eric, whom he shares with his partner Lauren Silverman, looks like him.
But he fears that other children will brutalize him.
The music mogul told The Daily Mail, "That's what I'm most afraid of being bullied.
"The first is stress, the kids are very stressed – with their homework, the pressure, I really do not want it for him, the second thing is intimidation, it terrifies me.
"If there's even a whiff of that, I do not think I can handle it."
Simon, who is always delighted when Eric joins him to judge his BGT and X Factor broadcasts, laughed as he explained that his five-year-old son thought he had a job.
The star says that he asked his son if he would like to do what dad did one day, but little Eric told him that he already had a job because he was always going to studio.
BGT is currently in the audition phase and Simon has already used his golden ring, sending a straight act until the semifinal.
Simon used his ringtone for comedian Kojo Anim, who broke down in tears while he was covering himself with golden confetti.
Kojo, from London, was already in tears on stage after his hilarious routine when the golden glitter fell on him.
The comedian, who knows Alesha Dixon for many years, has collapsed when he was put in the semi-finals.
Kojo left the audience and the judges in a fit of nerves and was applauded by everyone in the theater.
But all seemed lost when Simon said, "I'm going to be honest with you, I do not really like the comedians in this series."
"But I love you," he added before pushing his ring.
