Simon Cowell revealed that he had become vegan before his sixtieth birthday later this year.
The X Factor and Britain's Got Talent supremo put meat, dairy, wheat and sugar in touch while he was following an herbal diet.
It will be a huge departure from his love of comfort food, including jam pies, burgers and Bolognese spaghetti.
According to the appearance of the Cowell shots during a sunny break in Mexico, it feeds well into its diet while it absorbs the sun's rays.
With Lauren Silverman and his son Eric Cowell, five years later, Simon organizes the perfect family getaway at Easter.
In an interview with The Sun, Cowell also announced that he was now infrequently engaging in beer and cigarettes, claiming that it was "occasional" treatment.
He said: "One of my friends, who is a doctor, recommended talking to an expert, and I did it on a whim.
"I was allergic to melon, so I did not eat it for six months, but I saw this man and he explained it and it made sense.
"In less than 24 hours, I changed my diet and I have not looked back since, it feels better, it looks better.
"I cut a lot of things that I should not have eaten and that were mostly meat, dairy, wheat, sugar – these were the four main things."
The new Cowell diet comes after a fall at home in the middle of the night in October 2017.
At the time, Cowell blamed low blood pressure and promised to take better care of himself.
Cowell will turn 60 in October.
