A BAFFLED mother was stunned when CCTV captured a strange creature – which looked like Dobby the Elf Harry Potter movies – in front of his house.
The American Vivian Gomez was checking the security cameras that monitor her driveway when she noticed something very strange jumping near her back door.

However, some viewers believe that the incident could be a joke and would indicate a "second" mysterious shadow in the movie.
Vivian, stunned, shared the clip on Facebook and wrote, "So I woke up Sunday morning and saw it on my camera. I'm trying to understand.
"I first saw the shadow strolling from home then I saw this thing … Someone else had a. did he see on their cameras?
"The other two cameras did not take it for any reason."
The weird clip seems to show a small figure – probably a mischievous child wearing a hat – with skinny legs and big ears strolling along his path while making a small jig.
Whatever the explanation, many Potter fans were eager to celebrate the possible return of Dobby, his beloved character having been tragically extinguished in the sixth film "Deathly Hallows".
Maury Wills wrote on Facebook: "Dobby came to make sure you're safe!"
A Twitter user then added, "Everyone is joking by saying that it's Dobby, but I'm here to never go out at night."
But some eagle-eyed Twitter users point out that at one point in the video, there seems to be two shadows that suggest that someone might be exploiting an elven-looking puppet.
The reactions to Dobby 's death were so emotional that writer J.K. Rowling was moved to apologize on Twitter in 2018 for killing the "free" elf.
"This year, I'm sorry to have killed someone who did not die during the #BattleofHogwartsbut who gave his life to save those who would win it. I'm referring of course to Dobby, the house elf, "she wrote.
