Sir Clive Woodward reveals how he would prepare England for the Six Nations conflict with France

England coach Eddie Jones is expected to show his team the first half of the Six Nations opening match against Wales to keep his players' feet on the field, according to Sir Clive Woodward.

Jones' team took a perfect start in this year's championship as she won a bonus points victory against Ireland, favorite, in Dublin on Saturday night.

It took less than two minutes for England to take control of the competition at the Aviva stadium and Jonny May's first attempts led to a convincing victory.

However, as he prepares for Sunday's meeting with France at Twickenham, Woodward thinks it's important that Jones prevent his players from winning with their success in Dublin.

To do this, the winning coach of the Rugby World Cup would force the team to watch the first 40 minutes of Paris Friday night, while Les Bleus took a lead of 16-0 at halftime, which was wasted in the second half against Wales.

Woodward wrote in his column of the Daily Mail: "If I were coach of England, I would have the team sit down this morning, close the doors and ask them to watch the first half of France against Wales in absolute silence, which would allow them to get back on the ground.

"England must badume that the French side, not the one that capitulated in the second half, will come to Twickenham on Sunday and play for 80 minutes."

France and England will meet in Japan in October after being reunited in Pool C Pool C.

For Woodward, Sunday is a first chance to score for the quadrennial tournament.

"France will show up and I hope they will not change their team.They are in the England group at the World Cup so it's another huge match – and you are as good as your neighbor.

"For Ireland, it will take a significant recovery, I think they will lose against Scotland in Murrayfield because it is so difficult to leave after a defeat."
