Shakespears Sister is scheduled to meet 27 years after dominating the charts with Stay.
Siobhan Fahey and Marcella Detroit are about to make a comeback after settling a quarrel that has lasted for nearly three decades.
The former star of Bananarama Siobhan, 60, found the name of Shakespears Sister in 2009 for his own solo project, but after reconnecting to Marcella, 66, last year, the couple is working together again.
A source told the Sun: "It took years to negotiate this truce and this meeting between Siobhan and Marcella. They are both strong-willed women, but they know they make the best music when they work together.
"Rumors have been circulating for a while and finally they are true."
Shakespears Sister was founded by Siobhan in 1988 as a solo project. She released the first single, Break My Heart (You Really), but soon became a duet with Marcella.
You's History, their first big hit as a duo, was released in 1989, but this group will be best remembered for Stay.
The song was an international hit, stayed at number one for eight weeks and won the Brit Award for Best British Video.
However, it is also the song that would lead to the breakup of the band, while Siobhan became furious that Marcella sang the majority of the main voices on his biggest hit.
The tension worsened at the Ivor Novello Awards in 1993, when Marcella discovered that she had been excluded from the band during Siobhan's acceptance speech on the Best Contemporary Song Collection for Hormonally Yours.
Fahey wished his comrade "all the best in the future" by saying: "All is well, it ends well".
The singers did not speak until 2018, Marcella claiming that her husband and Siobhan's manager had orchestrated their meeting.
She told In Your Area, "I tried to reach several times but she did not want to know. But without my knowledge, my husband met her a while ago to convince her to speak.

"Then her manager wanted to know if I would be interested in meeting her and talking about doing something."
The last Shakespears Sister album was in 2011: Cosmic Dancer.
