Ms. Josephine Asante, head of marketing and public relations at Tema Port, killed in Ghana, was put to rest.

His funeral took place at the Catholic Church of Our Lady of Mercy in Tema.

Ms. Josephine Asante, 49, was murdered at her home in the Emef Estate in Mataheko, near Michel Camp, after returning from a late dinner at the dawn of January 13, 2019. .

Her housekeeper and driver were later arrested as principal suspects and charged with provisional murder as part of a court referral process.

In a sermon, the very Reverend Father George Obeng Appah, priest of the parish of St. Thomas More and the John Fisher Catholic Church, Achimota, said that the soul of those who led a fair life was between the hands of God.

He regretted that some Christians seem to have sold their conscience for money; a situation that would have lost the nation's value.

He therefore called on Christians to be bold and to criticize politicians and any reprehensible acts, regardless of the people involved.

Father Appah noted that Ms. Asante was defending what was right, hence her dreadful elimination of the Earth, stressing that "if you want to live properly and honestly, you will be killed," he added.

He prayed that his killers would be forgiven, while reminding that greed, jealousy and gossiping should not be encouraged among Ghanaians.

Mr. Michael Luguje, Director General of the GPHA, spoke with the media on the sidelines of the funeral and revealed that Ms. Asante had a cordial relationship with all employees and clients.

Mr. Luguje noted that the void created by the disappearance of Ms. Josephine Asante would be very difficult to fill.

He also called on security agencies to work hard to bring perpetrators to justice.
