Master Godfred Seidu Jasaw, a senior lecturer at the University of Development Studies (UDS), lamented the slow development in the Wa East district, in the far west of the country, in especially during the last two years of the government led by Akufo-Addo.

Dr. Jasaw, who was also deputy director of the campaign for the flag bearer contest of former President Mahama, announced it by donating a set of computers to some schools in Wa East District.

He said he had traveled the constituency and worried about the slow pace of development in the region in the last two years.

He expressed his willingness to support the constituents relentlessly by liaising with the cooperation agencies and other agencies to provide some of the basic equipment needed to improve the living conditions of the people of the district.

He explained that the computers he had donated to Funsi RC Basic School and Kundugu Basic School had been provided by NASCO's Feeding Minds Foundation, which is working to improve ICT education in schools. northern Ghana.

Dr. Godfred Jasaw, who made these donations together with officials from the NDC branch of Funsi and Kundugu, called on individuals and other development partners to support the district in these difficult times and badured voters that he would use his "vast network to support more district schools with teaching and learning materials".
