TOKYO. Nintendo announced its latest console Wednesday. In a YouTube video, the Japanese group introduced a lighter and cheaper version of the switch, called Switch Lite.
The main change is the integration of orders directly into the case, the detachable Joycons like the big brother, there are more. The Switch Lite has a directional pad and, thanks to more efficient chips, it should last longer on battery than the big switch. The screen is a little smaller at 5.5 inches, but has the same as the 6.2-inch display of the switch on a 720p resolution.
The Switch Lite is a fully portable console, so there is no way to connect it to the TV. The wharf has therefore been canceled without the much criticized base of the original.
The Switch Lite makes sense – after all, Nintendo urgently needs replacement for the old 3DS. With a price of $ 199 (we think it will be $ 199) and a much more robust and compact housing, the console seduces young players and their parents. The Switch Lite will be released on September 20th and will be released in time for the launch of Pokémon Sword and Shield (November 15th).
