August 1 – Frédéric Oudea, CEO of Societe Generale, explains to Caroline Connan, of Bloomberg, that the ECB should consider other measures, such as prioritization to combat the impact of negative rates. This occurs when the bank publishes a net profit for the second quarter higher than badysts' estimates. Oudea also said that Societe Generale's main argument was an economic slowdown in 2020.
