Craig Burley sees no way back for Manchester United, even though they have limited Barcelona to one goal at Old Trafford.
Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer told Rob Dawson of ESPN FC that he was modeling his management style on Sir Alex Ferguson, including his famous "hair dryer" treatment.
MANCHESTER, England – Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer warned his team that he would make "ruthless" decisions as he sought to build a team that could challenge Manchester City and Liverpool.
Solskjaer will oversee his first summer transfer window at the end of the season and the Norwegian is ready to make some big changes at Old Trafford in order to mount a serious challenge to the title for the first time since Sir Alex Ferguson retired in 2013.

"It will be the survival of the fittest or the best," said Solskjaer at a press conference on the eve of the Premier League clash against West Ham. "It's just how much we have to be ruthless.
"We need players here who can move us forward, which means culture in the locker room, what we do every day here to challenge ourselves.
"Liverpool and City are too far at the moment for what we like, we have faced a Barcelona team setting the standard in European football, we do not think it will be hard work and difficult decisions will be made by me, Mick [Mike Phelan] and the club. "
Sources told ESPN FC that Solskjaer is about to oversee a summer match that could include several senior players.
Antonio Valencia will leave 10 years after the club has decided not to renew the contract of Ecuador. Ander Herrera should go free transfer with the midfielder ready to commit his future at Paris Saint-Germain, while the contract of Juan Mata is also in force this summer. The Spanish has been offered a one year contract, but it is not signed.
Matteo Darmian, Marcos Rojo, Eric Bailly and Alexis Sanchez are among the other names linked to an outing before next season.
Solskjaer is expected to benefit more than £ 200m for new recruits, including a center back, a right-back, an attacker and at least one midfielder.
Players have another month to convince Solskjaer to stay at Old Trafford next season. The 46-year-old has hinted that he would have learned a lot about his players during a series of four disappointing defeats over the past five games.
"We have some standard here," said Solskjaer. "We had a good boost, now [it’s] more difficult times with results and performance.
"You want the players to stand up and say now," I want to be part of that. "You saw Fred and Scott [McTominay] the other day took the coat.
"That's what we expect from all players – when you win 5-0, or 3-0, or if you win five games on the rebound, it's easy.
"It's easy to be a footballer, but it's not always easy to be a footballer, you're going through more difficult times, you'll lose matches and your character will be revealed."
