MOGADISHU, April 2
(Xinhua / GNA) – Somali National Army (SNA) forces foiled a major terrorist
attack in the southern region late Monday as a result of violent clashes between
The army and al-Shabab fighters, government officials said on Tuesday.
The Ministry of
information stated that SNA forces also seized a tanker loaded with
explosives in the village of Sabid in the Lower Shabelle region.
"The terrorists
plotted to carry out a large-scale terrorist attack in Somalia, but the heroes
