PRAGUE (Reuters) – Part of the Czech banking market expects a slight increase in demand for mortgage loans in the third quarter, while overall the sector sees no change in credit standards , revealed Monday a regular survey of the Czech National Bank.
In the second quarter, banks left credit conditions unchanged for companies, according to the survey. Competition has led to softer conditions for home loans and demand has increased in part of the market in the last quarter, he added.
