No doubt about it, these prominent progressive voices – and many who follow them – are becoming anti-Tesla bias. Society has accelerated its transition to fossil fuels, perhaps more than any other society on the planet. Part of the problem – a big part of the problem – lies in the fact that huge teams of journalists who play a crucial role in the evolution of society, especially on political issues, are lacking in the world about Tesla . This is a big problem, in my opinion, not only for Tesla but also for the important work that other journalists do. We are at an unprecedented crisis in American history with Donald Trump, a dictatorial dictator. We have never seen anything comparable to the current attacks of the Trumpists (it is hard to call them Republicans) on the foundations of democracy and American values of honesty, justice and logic. We need more people to trust and do the good work that many political journalists do. Unfortunately, poor record outfits like the LA Times, New York Times, CNBC, MSNBCand others on Tesla completely move people away from these journalistic ventures. And why? Why? Because they push the propaganda even that they are supposed to dismantle.
People are eager for others to do their part to fight climate change. Climate activists are indignant at the entire business model of oil companies such as Exxon and Chevron. Still, if we think for a moment, how many of them have not yet abandoned their dirty petrol cars to switch to clean electric vehicles like Teslas? How many of them find ways to justify this despite the fact that Exxon should close? How many of them spread the propaganda of these oil companies against Tesla? How much do you avoid driving a better, nicer, faster, safer, colder car, simply because … oil companies have made them believe that Tesla is evil? How many of them realize that a Tesla Model 3 can often be less expensive than a Honda Accord or a Toyota Camry, not to mention a BMW 3 Series.
It will be difficult for us to solve our social crisis if even climate conscious consumers and politicians do not side with the most influential clean technology companies on the planet's climate.
